Finding your free car parking

We have one space at Swan Hill Nursing Home (No 1) and the postcode is SY1 1NQ. You can park anywhere and all you will need to do is display the permit on your dashboard. This can be found on the hall table in our house. 

 

 

More than one car ?

 

Extra parking to the one allocated can be found at the toll bridge which runs between Shrewsbury High School and Kingsland, it is either £3 or £5 a day depending on which which part you park at (20p pieces will be needed for toll). The only issue with pay per day parking is that you have to get up early everyday to do this, therefore I suggest parking at the end of Ashton Road (No 2) next to Shrewsbury School as this is free and only a 5-10 minute walk into the town centre.

We have one private car parking space located approximately 1 minutes walk from our property. This can be found at Swan Hill Nursing Home. The postcode is SY1 1NQ. The parking permit can be found on the welcome desk, you will need to display this on your dashboard upon arrival.

 

Shrewsbury Train Station - Located approximately 0.5 miles from our property in the centre of town (10 minute walk). There are fantastic connections from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool etc.

Birmingham Airport (50 Miles) - 1 hour by Car.

Pier Head Ferry Terminal Liverpool (64 Miles) - 1 hour 20 mins by Car.

Portsmouth Ferry Terminal (200 Miles) - 3 hours 30 mins by Car.

Dover Ferry Port (248 miles) - 4 hours 20 mins by Car.
